Escapade - Quartet

About Us
Escapade quartet began singing together in July of 2009. The first time the four sang together, they looked at each other briefly... then declared it time to buy matching socks! Representing four choruses and two regions, they are four busy barbershoppers, and the current Region 14 second-place medalist quartet.

Tenor Anne Fenton currently sings bass in the Vienna-Falls chorus, the 2010 Region 14 champions. A Sweet Adeline since 2003, she has sung in several choruses in Region 21, including the champion Scottsdale chorus. Retired from government service, she and her husband live in Ashburn, Virginia, where she sings first soprano in her church choir.

Lead Sherry Stanton has been a Sweet Adeline since 1988, and although she has sung every part (but baritone) in a quartet, she's a lead at heart -- the part she sings with the Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus. She currently directs the Capital Accord Chorus in Silver Spring, MD.

Baritone Donna Coakley lives in Unionville, MD with husband Pastor Dave and black lab/border collie mix Gertie. Donna began singing barbershop in the Clustered Spires chorus in 2003, and has been a member of Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus since 2006 singing bass and baritone.  Donna can also be found playing the guitar and serving as a subsitute choir director at church.

Bass Laura Cleverly serves as a member of Region 14's musical faculty and  is an associate member of Potomac Harmony Showtime Chorus.  A Sweet Adeline since 1998, she lives in Herndon, VA with husband Clayton and daughters Kaitlyn and Keira.
